BC Building Science was engaged to manage a full building envelope renovation, complete permit drawings and conduct field reviews at this 1977 rental building in east Vancouver.
Extensive decayed wood framing was observed during the construction phase, and the work completed included renovations to the main flat roof assembly, suspended slab assembly (landscaping and patios), windows / doors, and the wall cladding and balcony assemblies.
