BC BUILDING SCIENCE EXPLORES THE DELICIOUS SIDE OF PI!

March 17th, 2025

By: BC Building Science

Pi Day is an annual event whimsically observed on March 14 (3/14) as this date represents the first three digits of π (pi) = 3.14, the mathematical constant reflecting the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter.  Pi Day is celebrated around the world with math-related activities, competitions to recite the most digits of pi, and, of course, by eating pie!

Many schools and organizations use the day to promote math education and appreciation, but as avid science enthusiasts who always enjoy a delicious meal, the team at BCBS marked this significant date with a lunch hour filled with both savoury and sweet pie creations!
