BC Building Science was retained by the Owners of Greenhill Place as the Building Envelope Consultant for a targeted building envelope renovation at their building. Greenhill Place is a three-storey, wood frame townhouse complex containing 22 townhouse units, located at 1232 Johnson Street, Coquitlam.
The renovation included new PVC sheet waterproofing membrane on balconies; structural remediation of balconies as needed, including the parapet walls; and replacement of original existing aluminum frame sliding doors with new energy efficient, Low-E glazed PVC frame sliding doors.
