Fraserview Towers Co-op consists of two 12-storey concrete-framed residential buildings, located in Vancouver. A community-minded take on renting is thriving in this cooperative living space in the Riverfront neighbourhood of South Vancouver. Fraserview Towers Co-op is ideally nestled between the mighty Fraser River and all the amenities this fast-growing area has to offer.
BCBS was an integral part of the team during the new construction of this development. Our expertise contributed to the successful completion of this exciting project through providing an enhanced building science commissioning program. This approach first included establishing the basis of design for the building envelope as well as a commissioning plan. During the construction phase, we performed ongoing field reviews and provided field testing of key envelope and commissioning components as the testing agency. Envelope field testing included the necessary quality assurance field tests to ensure optimal functionality such as water testing a sampling of windows and doors.
