Loma is a 25-storey concrete-framed mixed-use building, with 180 residential units. Located in the historic Maillardville neighbourhood of Coquitlam, Loma offers 1–3-bedroom suites and short strolls to spacious greenspace, an activities-rich community centre, Superstore and T&T, and the SkyTrain. There is plenty of fun right on the property though as the rooftop lounge and pool are just an elevator ride away, as are the fitness centre with steam room and modern yoga studio.
BCBS was an integral part of the team during the new construction of this development. Our expertise contributed to the successful completion of this exciting project through building envelope consulting services. This approach first included establishing the basis of design for the building envelope. During the construction phase, we performed ongoing field reviews and provided field testing of key envelope components as the testing agency. This approach first included establishing the basis of design for the building envelope and guiding the design for energy efficiency optimization through energy modelling.
