Pyrrha is a unique 6-storey commercial building located in Vancouver. This Heritage Revitalization project in Mount Pleasant’s industrial neighbourhood consisted of both the renovation of a 100+ year old heritage home and the creation of a concrete and cross-laminated timber tower boasting almost 10,000 square feet of energy efficient production and showroom space for a contemporary jewellery design company.
BCBS was an integral part of the team during the new construction of this development. Our expertise contributed to the successful completion of this exciting project through building envelope consulting services. This approach first included establishing the basis of design for the building envelope. During the construction phase, we performed ongoing field reviews and provided field testing of key envelope components as the testing agency.
