BC Building Science was retained by the Owners of 1155 West 11th Ave. as the Building Envelope Consultant for a full replacement of the waterproofing membrane system at their building. 1155 West 11th Ave. in Vancouver is a three-storey wood-framed residential apartment building with 17 units constructed over a below-grade concrete parking garage.
BCBS, SW Landscape Architect, and the Strata developed a new landscape design throughout the property to improve the function, durability, and appeal of the building exterior. Through a process of consultation, drawings, and various other methods, a new landscape design scheme was developed and approved by the Strata. The renovation included the comprehensive replacement of the waterproofing membrane system and landscaping components above the parking garage where it extends beyond the building footprint.
