On a particular day, anywhere along the west coast, you can witness various weather systems tracking across the sky, and sometimes you’ll be fortunate enough to bask in the sunshine for an extended period before a cloud appears and darkness fills its centre.  The waves that you heard earlier, gently lapping at the shore, will gain a rhythmic force which builds as the light fades.  Your thoughts will transition from ones of warmth and light to images of water, soft at first but gaining momentum.  Intuition tells you its time to take cover, pause, and the cycle begins again.
