Riverwalk is a 5-storey wood-framed residential building located in South Vancouver’s vibrant River District. This modern building with 109 units of affordable housing for low to moderate income individuals, seniors, and families is a collaborative effort between the B.C. Government, the City of Vancouver, and S.U.C.C.E.S.S., one of Canada’s largest social services agencies. Riverwalk boasts modern clean lines and is tranquilly located between numerous parks and playgrounds, with the mighty Fraser River and the Fraser Foreshore Trail just steps away.
BCBS was an integral part of the team during the new construction of this development. Our expertise contributed to the successful completion of this exciting project through building envelope consulting services. This approach first included establishing the basis of design for the building envelope. During the construction phase, we performed ongoing field reviews and provided field testing of key envelope components as the testing agency.
