Today, one of our principals, Andrew Creighton, joined with one of our newer engineers, Pedram Kheirkhah, to present to the BCIT Building Science Club – a fascinating group of engaged professionals finishing their Masters of Building Science degree program at #BCIT.

The topic of the day was ‘Building Envelope Condition Assessment – The Why and How’.  With a touch on the history of Building Envelope Failures in the BC region, we focused on best practices for conducting these assessments, and how to be a professional in this dynamic field of practice, including how to be empathetic to a client’s needs, establish key Owner Project Requirements at the outset, and a general overall understanding of how a well-considered BECA report is key in leading to a successful project outcome.
