BCBS TEAM MEMBERS TAKE TO THE WATERWAYS!
Whether it be for rest, relaxation, rejuvenation, or just straight up fun, many believe getting out onto the water is a truly healing experience. There are numerous modes of aquatic transportation, but our group especially loves to glide along in kayaks and on stand-up paddleboards, otherwise known as an SUP. Many of us are familiar with kayaks, but fewer know the diverse uses of SUPs. These boards are extremely versatile and can be utilized for pleasure cruising, racing, surfing waves, and even SUP yoga. With the right instruction, learning to operate an SUP is fairly easy and, like kayaks, once you hit your stride they can provide a full body workout engaging your heart, lungs, and numerous muscle groups. With countless picturesque waterways to explore in the greater Vancouver area, it’s the perfect time to get out in your kayaks and SUPs!
