On Saturday, BCBS had the chance to speak with Grade 10 to 12 students from schools across the lower mainland about sustainability related careers as part of ‘Green Collar Futures’ – a career conference hosted by Green Bricks Education Society. Check out their website here.

Michael Aw of BCBS presented at BCBEC’s luncheon yesterday on the characteristics and aesthetics of charred wood as a cladding material. The presentation was a collaboration between Michael and two of his fellow BCIT students, and drew on the capstone research project that they completed together in their final year.

A few BCBS team members completed their fall protection training at EnviroSafety yesterday…and had a great time. Who knew safety training could be so much fun?

Our latest roofing project involved removing a 40-year-old roof and replacing it with a new exterior insulated membrane assembly.
