BC Building Science was retained by the Owners of Palette On The Park as the Prime Consultant for a targeted envelope renovation at their building. Located in Surrey, Palette On The Park is a 3-storey residential complex consisting of 131 townhouse style units constructed in thirteen phases.
The Strata requested that BCBS manage a targeted balcony and exterior building renovation project which included wood repairs & membrane replacement.
Through a process of consultation and various other methods, an architectural design strategy was developed and approved by the Strata. The proposed work included the installation of new PVC membrane, the reinstatement of railing and rainscreen vinyl siding assembly, updating of guardrails and wood columns, reinstatement of wood lattice, reinstatement of soffits and downpipes, and strategic paint touch ups.
