By: DCD Developer

BC Building Science is proud to be the building envelope and energy consultant of what is to be British Columbia’s new tallest building. The new proposal is calling for an 82-storey tower at Lougheed Town Centre in Burnaby, right next to the SkyTrain. BCBS provided basis of design for building envelope and energy systems to achieve stringent energy and emissions targets to meet the City of Burnaby’s Environmental Sustainability Strategy (ESS) and Community Energy Emissions Plan (CEEP).

The tower, located at 9850 Austin Road and 9858-9898 Gatineau Place, will be a mixed-use building, with retail and hotel space on the lower floors and residential space on the upper floors.
