ROOFING OBSERVER

What we are looking for:

BC Building Science seeks a Roofing Observer to join our team. The main role involves field review of new construction projects.

 

What we expect from you:

  • Preference to candidates with Registered Roof Observer (RRO) designation.
  • Working knowledge of a variety of roofing systems and related Building Envelope components and assemblies.
  • Skilled in technical writing and have excellent communication skills – written and oral.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Creative thinker with high attention to detail.

 

What you are going to do:

  • Conduct thorough field reviews for new construction projects.
  • Monitor the quality of roofing installations to ensure they meet established standards.
  • Ensure that roofs comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Stay informed about new roofing materials, technologies, and construction methods.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Salary range: $54,000 – 74,000 annual
