BC Building Science was retained by the Owners of Harbour Shores as the Building Envelope Consultant for a full building envelope renovation.  Harbour Shores is a 4-storey wood-framed residential building constructed over a below-grade parking garage containing 40 residential units, located at 2336 Wall Street, Vancouver.

BC Building Science was retained by Onni as the Building Envelope Consultant for Edgewater at Porpoise Bay.  Located at Sechelt Inlet Road and Delta Road in Sechelt, Edgewater at Porpoise Bay is a townhouse development consisting of two and three storey, wood frame buildings over cast-in-place concrete foundation walls.

BC Building Science was retained as the Building Envelope Consultant for Pacific Sands Resort. Located at 1421 Pacific Rim Hwy in Tofino, Pacific Sands Resort is a pre-fabricated 3-storey steel-framed hotel building over a site built concrete foundation with site built timber walkways at the 2^nd and 3^rd floors.

BC Building Science was retained by Amacon as the Building Envelope Consultant for Ridgewood Place.  Located at 12161 223 St. in Maple Ridge, BC, Ridgewood Place is a four-storey wood frame over a one-level below-grade cast-in-place concrete parking garage.

BC Building Science was retained by Century Group as the Building Envelope Consultant for Solaro.  Located at 22304 50th Avenue, Langley, Solaro consists of two 4-storey wood-framed residential buildings constructed over a below-grade parkade.

BC Building Science was retained by the Owners of Parkview Place as the Building Envelope Consultant for a targeted building envelope renovation at their buildings.  Parkview Place is located at 240 West 16^th Street, North Vancouver.  It is comprised of three multi-storey townhouse buildings, which contain sixteen townhouse units.  The buildings are wood-frame construction with reinforced concrete footings and slab on-grade.

BC Building Science was retained by the Owners of McKenzie House as the Building Envelope Consultant for a targeted building envelope renovation at their building.  McKenzie House is a three-storey wood frame residential building constructed over a below grade parking garage.  It contains 56 residential units, and is located at 2033 Triumph Street, Vancouver.

BC Building Science was retained by the Owners of Bristol Garden as the Building Envelope Consultant for a targeted building envelope renovation at their building.  Bristol Garden is a multi-building, multi-storey residential townhouse project containing 37 units.  The wood-framed structure is supported on a cast-in-place concrete perimeter footing and slab on grade.  It is located at 7695 St. Albans Road in Richmond.

BC Building Science was retained by the Owners of Greenhill Place as the Building Envelope Consultant for a targeted building envelope renovation at their building.  Greenhill Place is a three-storey, wood frame townhouse complex containing 22 townhouse units, located at 1232 Johnson Street, Coquitlam.

BC Building Science was retained by the Owners of Connaught Court as the Building Envelope Consultant for a targeted building envelope renovation at their building.  Connaught Court is a 3-storey wood-framed residential building constructed over a below-grade parkade.  It contains 44 units, and is located at 2121 West 6^th Avenue, Vancouver.

This multi-family, strata apartment is a three-level wood-framed building constructed over an above-grade parking garage and containing 39 residential units, located in White Rock.  A building envelope condition assessment was completed in 2014 and the building envelope renovation of all assemblies was completed in 2016.

BC Building Science was retained by Quadra as the Building Envelope Consultant for Yorkson Downs.  Located at 20716 Willoughby Town Centre Drive in Langley, Yorkson Downs consists of two six-storey wood frame buildings over a cast-in-place concrete parkade.

BC Building Science was retained by the Owners of The Woodglen as the Building Envelope Consultant for a parking garage slab waterproofing membrane and landscape renewals project at their building.  The Woodglen is a three-storey wood-framed residential apartment building constructed over a below-grade concrete parking garage.  The building contains 51 residential units, and is located at 265 15th Avenue, Vancouver.

BC Building Science was retained by Amacon as the Building Envelope Consultant for Juneau.  Located at 4455 Juneau Street, Burnaby, Juneau is a comprised of 26-storey residential buildings sharing a courtyard with five 3-storey townhouses.  The main structure of the buildings is concrete, over a 3-level below-grade cast-in-place concrete parking garage.

BC Building Science was retained by the Owners of Landmark Arms as the Building Envelope Consultant for a targeted building envelope renovation at their building.  Landmark Arms is a three-level wood-framed residential apartment building constructed over a below-grade parking garage and containing 26 residential units, located at 1484 Charles Street in Vancouver.

BC Building Science was retained by the Owners of Ocean View as the Building Envelope Consultant for a full building envelope renovation at their building.  Ocean View is a three-level, wood-framed residential apartment building constructed over a below-grade cast-in-place reinforced concrete parking garage.  The building contains a total of 26 residential units, and is located at 156 West 21st Street, North Vancouver.

BC Building Science was retained by Lark Group as the Building Envelope Consultant for the North Surrey Sport and Ice Complex.  Located at 10950 – 126A Street, Surrey, the North Surrey Sport and Ice Complex is a two-storey concrete and steel-framed building with arched glulam beams supporting the roof.

BC Building Science was retained by the Owners of Cedarhill Manor as the Building Envelope Consultant for a full building envelope renovation at their building.  Cedarhill Manor is located at 215 Mowat Street, New Westminster.  It is a four-storey wood-framed residential building constructed over two below-grade parking garages, containing 41 units.

BC Building Science was retained by Wall Financial Corporation as the Building Envelope Consultant for the Burnaby Buller Ambulance Centre. Located at 5901 Delesalle Street in Burnaby, Burnaby Buller Ambulance Centre is a 2-storey concrete tilt-up sandwich panel building over a 1-storey conventional concrete below-grade wall.

After a previous engineering firm recommended significant and costly renewal strategies, BC Building Science was engaged to provide a second opinion.  Following our assessment, a practical and more cost-effective approach was identified.

Once certified, the Okanagan College Daycare will be one of the first non-residential passive houses in Canada.  As the Passive House Consultant for the team, BC Building Science provided input crucial to certification – the PHPP model, and consultation on envelope, mechanical and electrical systems.
